KY Liqiud (SKY) finishes 17th at 2004 IGLA Championships:
Congratulations to Mike Neal, Craig Pickering, and Michelle Ward who all had great swims at the IGLA Championships in Ft. Lauderdale, October 6-11.
Craig, swimming in the 25-29 age group, was 1st in the 400 free in a new LMSC-record time of 4:22.82, 1st in the 200 IM (2:17.10), 1st in the 400 IM (4:59.58), 1st in the 200 fly (2:16.77), and 1st in the 200 free (2:01.46--another new LMSC record).
Mike, just aged up to the 40-44 age group, was 2nd in the 400 free (4:47.84), 2nd in the 200 IM in a new LMSC-record time of 2:28.71, 1st in the 400 IM (5:32.07), 6th in the 100 free (1:00.64), and 2nd in the 200 free (2:16.52).
Michelle, in the 35-39 age group, was 5th in the 200 free (2:56.77), 1st in the 400 IM (6:57.08), 2nd in the 200 fly (3:18.71--she, along with the 1st-place finisher, broke the old IGLA record!), 5th in the 400 free (6:15.83), and 2nd in the 200 IM (3:14.26).
